After checking ALL resources should not be worse than -6 with w/chill + NE 10mph winds = Bareable night with the trusty old fire - Hope the fish are thinking the same demon (not that they know about the fire yet!!!) demon At least biggest tide of the month!!!!! See U there!!!

Went down to minus 11!!!!!

demon Not a bite on five baits in the sea - using 6 different types of bait - ALL night !!!! Then a single dog at 6.00am - thats my report!!! Only two dogs caught on 1 mile stretch of Abbs through 24 hour period ...... Things will pick up this month once we get a westerlie or two!!!!!

Westerlies stir up food etc and also pull the fish much closer into the shore!!

Jan / Feb always the worst months for catches - Westerlies in March are known to rekindle the fish into feeding. Breeding seasons over and water warms up!!!

 

ALL in ALL WE need Westerlies.....
