Sea fishing in Jersey?

Norfolkdan

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

Maybe having a holiday over in Jersey soon, and was wondering if it was worth taking beachcasters.

It would probaly be around June or July time, maybe August...

What would I be likely too catch?

Would I be better off taking carp rod, and using feathers, spinners, float fishing etc..

Any help greatly appreciated

Dan

It depends on the type of fishing that you are in to.

There are mullet in the harbour and it is worth float fishing for garfish, mackerel, pollack and bass at that time of year from the harbours and rocks.

Mark and I go for full size beach rods and SLOSH's when we fish the bottom.

Take a look at www.jersey.com for a guide to the fishing in Jersey.

We might be able to sort out a mini AN fish in :)
