[The Flying Tench]

The manager of one of the local tackle shops was saying that Newlands has a very good bream lake, though I'm not sure which one that is. It's 40 minutes from me, but I also see there's a stretch of the Windrush. Is that still good for dace? At £20 for an OAP like me I'm tempted, even though I may not make it over there very often. I'd welcome any up-to-date info.

Yes one of their lakes does apparently have some decent bream BUT I'm afraid it's the usual story of carpers dominating. If that's ok then no problem. However, as rich says for £20 I'd just join anyway! PM me if you want any more detailed info.
