Another cod on a shad from whitby

My good m8 and local skipper of sea otter 2 paul kilpatrick says one of the best cod catching tips he can give these days for boat angling is to purchase a packet of storm shads. Paul says shads are totally amazing for catching cod at Whitby. I wish I knew about them 20 years ago says Paul, they certainly sort out the fish even on days when the conditions are against you. In the past bait and jiggers only seemed to fish well when the tides and weather were in your favour, but now with shads the fishing is so much easier.
