    Praa sands near penzance is a bit of a tourist beach but there's a hire shop on the beach for snorkelling, surfing etc.Not angling kayaks but when we were down there last summer they had rtm mambo's which i think were around £5 an hour but dont quote me on that price

    i could be very interested in that, where are you based?

    can't help you from a fishing point of view but i know Praa sands a little further along from marazion is a good family beach where the water is only 50 yds from your car. in the summer they even hire out sit on tops from here if you wanted to take kids out with you
