  1. Thanks a lot fellas saved me a lot of phaffing about
  2. Hi all, was wondering if anybody out there knew the size of bolt which fits the brass inserts on the prowler 13 especially the four bolt holes just fwd of the cockpit tray which i want to mount my fishfinder or rodholder on
  3. hi Lloydus i've been doing the same myself, here's a list of sites in the uk that i visited. I opted for a Phirana Max 10, about the middle of road, works a treat for me. www.britnett-carver.co.uk/ericsangling/prods/1380html www.fishingheaven.co.uk/hummingbird fishfinder.html www.northeastmarineelecronics.com
  4. Hi zzippy, puffygrowler again, i've been counting in my moneybox, and i'll be able to make you a good offer for all your gear, trouble is, i don't know how to get hold of you directly, as the forum dictates i place around 16 posts b4 i can leave you a personnal message. My e-mail address is treasurecoates@aol.com or my mobile is 07812735518, i hope you can get hold of me b4 you place your gear on e-bay, again sorry to hear about your predicament Kindest regards Ralph Coates
  5. hi zzippy, as i've just bought a prowler 13 i'm in the market for some extras, they will go to a good home, and i'll pay asking price, i'm only in worthing so could pick them up at your convienience, if you still have the following, please let me know;- ram mounts, fish finder, battery, anchor pulley system, and paddle, i know it's gonna be a wrench for you, but here's to you getting back on the water soon, Kindest regards Ralph(puffygrowler)
  6. Hi overrun, i know what you mean, but it's a man thing, you know, trying not to look that clueless
  7. Hi mark, i'm sure i will, and like you i hope there's yakkers around my neck of the woods who fancy a trip out. Good luck in your quest for fishing company
  8. hi maidstonemike, i have to say i haven't seen any angling yakkers down my neck of the woods, and i'm looking forward to the looks from the fishermen on the pier and on the beach when i paddle past on a hot summers day chasing mackeral, and bass, (well we can all dream can't we!)
  9. Hi overrun, i know what you mean, but it's a man thing, you know, trying not to look that clueless
  10. Hi yakdiver, thanks very much
  11. Hi raymo, i think the big game might just fit, i'm 18 stone and a tad under 6 foot, but not that lardy thank goodness, i'm even thinking about a malibu, but until i test drive them all my head keeps spinning, as they all look really good, but i want to avoid looking like a big lump on a surfboard!
  12. Hi all, my name's Ralph i live in Worthing on the South Coast. I'm new to yak fishing but i will be taking it up in the next few weeks. Will probably be getting a prowler 13 or big game, the decision made after reading comments on this site, (i have to say i'm glad you more experienced yakkers are out there so people like myself can gain a little insight into what we are about to buy, and not look completely naive or stupid when enquiring or purchasing a kayak, thanks for that). Hopefully if there's anybody around my area maybe within a 30 mile radius we might be able to hook up (no pun intended) for a days fishin in the near future. Hope to speak to you fellas (or ladies) a bit later Ralph
