  1. Yeah, the wheel squeaks Bb
  2. The more I use mine, the more I dislike it, the straps slip, the trolley slides out, it causes flat spots on the hull, its heavy, the stay leg falls off, its too expensive and I'm going off the colour Bb.
  3. There is nothing fine about an Austin Maxi snapper Bb
  4. SpeciMan is correct, theoretically it is 11 hour but the battery, wires and connectors all have internal resistance, typically the recomended time for trickle chargers is around 16 hours. I use the 12v from my cordless drill, couple of crocodile clips and away you go. Hope this helps Bb
  5. looks like a nice smart peice of kit! just a shame i aint got a vehicle to put it on atm!!! There seems to be a lack of planning there mate Bb
  6. My BGP got a flat spot from a C Tug , Got mine out by pushing a partly inflated football inside the hull and leaving in the sun, sorted Bb
  7. Try this link from another forum http://www.anglersafloat.co.uk/KayakProject_Fishfinder.html Bb
  8. Whereabouts would you guys be getting together & what clothing do you recommend ? Blue oyster bar, top hat, french letter and spurs Sorry wrong forum Bb
  9. I dont think there is such a thing as an ideal trolling speed, each lure differs from the next at the same trolling speed. Some work best fast others slow, every day fishing also differs, there are times when the fish refuse to play unless the lure is at the right speed, the problem is what is that speed. If I knew what it was, I would "bag up"every time and would certainly not let my secret out on this or any other forum , the thing is, I don't, so I can't The only thing you can do is try differant lures, of differant colours, at differant depths and differant speeds, hoping to catch a fish or two. Bb
  10. [ Anyways its now sitting in the fridge in my missus finest tuperware, lucky i got her insured Let us know what it tastes like when she's cooked it for you Bb
  11. Hi shazza1971, As SDD has said there are many kayaks that will suit your needs. I have a Prowler Big Game that I use solely for lakes and rivers, it is very stable and has a massive payload, (mine is fitted with an electric trolling motor) Not sure if I fancy charging through the surf in it but it is perfect for my needs.] If you can, try differant makes and models before you buy, tag along to some of the meets that are posted on the various forums, as well as a paddle you will get plenty of useful advice. tight lines . Bb
  12. get your mousse whipped by then. I taped it, watched it several time in slowmo, whisking arm worn out
  13. Great programme, Fair play at finishing all the challanges but I couldn't help but fantasize about her, me, the wetsuit and 2 pints of butterscotch instant whip Bb
  14. You never snapper, you might welcome it the next time you get the opportunity to go hinting during a forest fire. Bb Or hunting for that matter Bb
  15. The same as standing but in more comfort If you want a plastic boat, have you had a look at the Aqua Peche 350? Bb
  16. Yep I use them too. Work fine for me Bb
  17. I can stand up on my BGP but why would you want to? I can cast flies, lures or baits sitting down. The kayak is so stealthy that you can run over fish before they know your there. I had 12 pike and 1 zander in a couple of hour a few weeks ago, better than any boat I've been in. I also have an electric motor fitted which is good for about 20 miles I'm not saying Kayaks are better than boat, nor are they worse, just differant and certainly more fun. Bb
  18. Been out pike fishing in my prowler big game again today, didn't die or fall in. I have been fishing for over 45 years its best fishing platform I've ever used. Bb
  19. Make up your own mind http://www.anglersnet.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=76020 Bb
  20. Norwich is planned soon, with another board member from Cambridgeshire. That would be me then Only been out in my BGP a few times after Pike and Zander from the Nene and its lakes. So far I have been doing quite well with six pike between 10-14lb and several smaller and a 7lb zander. Bit of a blow last time out, lost one well over 20lb when the snap swivel straightend just as I got it close to the yak made up some traces yesterday with some stronger snaplinks hopefully that should stop it happening again. Not done any sea fishing yet, I'll give it a miss until me kayaking skills improve, I hope to make it to snappers "Autumn Broads meet" and I think he is aiming to fish here soon, so perhaps we could meet up then. If you are interested in a bit of puddle splashing you are more than welcome to join me. Bb
  21. Glad you enjoyed yourself, I don't know what trolly you have but if you replace the original wheels with larger ones they are easier to drag over sand and pebbles. Bb

You are right of course but when confronted with the scum who break into your house, garage, car what ever, all rational thought goes and it turns into rage. For months after my break-ins I would have happily stangled the culprit if I had caught them. Glad things turned out fine in the end, just one question have you ever had any trouble from him since I guess not Bb
