i use them cheap sausages from ocset for mullet .i put them on the hook n line trace the night before n let them go a bit crusty on the surface the point the hooks sticking out slightly ,,,,,,best 7lbs thin lipped

can i ask all anglers to wash thier nets and gear before leaving this river if they fish it before going to another river or pond so to stop the spread of this disease ,thanks guys

about tha same nah there is usually sumat to hook into even if its weavers.or whiting soles dabs bass odd doggie .had small skate off the point many years ago .when the cod are there then your lucks in .like most east coast places its pick a peg n chance ur arm mate , now oin the 70s... WOW

or lack of it .12 anglers .... no fish .no bites ,if the fish had been there they had glued shut mouths .loads of small fish etc taking hook after hook and cleaning it ,3 herring boats drift werking within a 100 yrds of me didnt help . so waste of £20 werms .£5 of squid n razor clams ... but i went for the sun didnt i .. saw 500 geese making shore over yarmouth way .will have to take a lok for them on the broads over the winter

reports on the lowestoft coast about chesil beach fishing well with codling is this true . incidently lowestoft to benacre sluice has codling 17 in one tide along with a bass and a large sole regs munty

when i was younger ( 50 now ) i could whump a lead the obligatory 100 yds no problem with a diawa moonraker n multiplier using the old yarmouth back cast .now after having a 3 way heart bypass and not having a stable ribcage i can only chuck it 50-65 with fixed spool.daft as it may seem i found im catching fish on that mark more than trying to wak it out as far as i could and hurting myself to boot . as its said the fish will be where they want 10 ft in or 200 yrds out . its in the lap of the gods not your casting arm
