  8. no zippy we were here first mate the celts ect, the reason there's ginge in scandinavia is they rapped and pilleged stole the women and took them back with them. i'd of stuck with the blondes personally
  9. Got to catch emmm first matey , I like my fish very simple filleted and pan fried or baked whole stuffed with whatever you want and wrapped in foil, chuck it on the bbq or in the oven, or steamed, bass is a very versitile fish. good luck with your fishing
  10. Hi mate im very jealous of your location once you get going your going to clean up!!! I worked down in Cornwall for 2 years and Devon for 2 years its awesome fishing. Lived in St-Mawes and caught a lot of Bass there. Got A mate who lives in Falmouth and he caught a lot of Bass and guilt head bream in Falmouth bay from a yak this summer. If I was you use two peice rods not telescopic, telescopic will rust quickly because of the extra contact with the sea. good luck
  11. I'm a chef and recomend Global filleting knives there japenese and will last you the rest of your life made in the same way as the samuri swords were, cost a few quid but worth it. or get a swedish/finish filleting knife, there nice and thin and last a long time. Best value for money fillleting knife would be a Victorinaux filleting knife with rose wood handle, the rose wood handle version are more expensive but have better blades. this is the company that makes the swiss army knives
  12. us ginger indigenous brits were here first lol
  13. Hi Guys I cheated today didnt go out on the yak and went out with Dad on his mitchell 31, got out there for about 8am and fished till 1.30pm would of stopped out longer but it was a early tide and didnt fancy staying out until tonight. On the boat we had 4xcod 1xBass 1xbream(shock) 2xspotted rays 2xundulate rays, pouting, dogfish, and lots of whitting. had a few quiet spells but was really good fun, I had 2 of the Cod 1x7.5lb 1x3lb and dad had the bigest of 14lb.
  14. Hi guys went out off Cullver this morning, first couple of hours had 3 dogfish then had a 4lb spotted ray, then bang bang bang big bite was a 12lb Cod really nice fight, kept the cod but returned other fish. had a couple of small bites and went home, happy to get my first cod in a yak

  17. zippy we have differnt oppinions on keeping Bass im very bored by your negative comments, i dont go on uour threads making negative comments, if you dont like the pics dont look at them. chill and talk about fishing
  18. hi guys have caught 269 bass since june but that was all sizes and i didnt keep all the in size fish, the Bass population in my area are healthy maybe not as good as years ago but you can blame the fishing quoters for that not little me on a yak. i no a lot of people return there bass and i respect that, and the only reason i kept the 9lb 1oz bass was because it was a pb wouldnt keep all that size, plus i prefure the 2.5lb bass for eating. but good for you for putting them back, i fish for the sport but but bass do taste exellent which is a bonus. its a debate that i have had with people before and will again but i can see it from both sides of the coin
  19. Hi Tony i wont cause any problems those guys just didnt like my opinions i never meant to make problems, i just want to talk about fishing like i did on that site. thanks
