Hi chaps ive just seen an episode of predators on the wensum fishing for chub on dead bait but not using a wire trace. You lads can corect me if im wrong but i think it is not a good idea even stupid ignorent and irisponsible to do this IE not good to show the kids this practice. When ever i use deads for eels chub or pike i allways use a wire trace just in case i get a pike. What do you lads think of this? ALL THE BEST ZAPP

Hi chaps im dropping my kids off at pleasure island tomorrow (27 june) and to save me another trip to pick them up can anyone tell me if there is any good fishing to be had in or around that area but not the boating lake. ALL THE BEST ZAPP

Thanks Mally i have herd it called 3& 5 rivers but as long as you understood where it is it is ok but i have done well in the past both in the car park pegs and further on up well past the footbridge with good tench and bream espetialy at night and even my friend 5 or 6 yrs ago had an 11 pound carp which is the only carp i have seen come out of that area but i wiil either give the canal or 3 rivers a shot soon ALL THE BEST ZAPP

Hi chaps has anyone had any luck at pilfery bridge near keadby as im going to give it a shot at the weekend. I took a look at keadby canal the other day and the bream are still spawning how long do they spawn for and when is worth a days fishing for them ALL BEST ZAPP

Ed the reason i ask is cos i went to have a pre open season look last week and there was lots of people fishing and when i mentioned that the season starts on the 16th i was told that all canals stay open but i have fished keadby for 10 yrs now and i always thaught it closed when the rivers close ALL THE BEST ZAPP

Hi chaps i got a pike outfit from Bennets about 10 yrs ago and it had a socalled humane gag in with it ie (whithout the spikes) with it but i have never used it but i still have it. ALL THE BEST ZAPP

Hi I also use braid for all of my spinning for the same reasons as Bulster but it is a tad expensive the stuff i use is a tenner for 100 yds but if anyone knows of anything cheaper please tell. ALL THE BEST ZAPP

As usual this year i will be fishing the 1st night of the season on one of rivers i have fished since childhood (LINCOLNSHIRE)but as usual i along with lots of other anglers (THE BANKS ARE ALWAYS FULL) i will start fishing long before midnight do any of you have any objections to this? as it is out of season but only by a few houres and i and everyone i know who does this has never been stopped ALL THE BEST ZAPP
