  2. ello, Im after my first rod after being out of the fishing scene for a few years. I will be doing some feeder type fishing, either for barble / tench or carp. I want a good all round rod which will suit me well, and is of good quality. Does anyone here have a Drennan Series 7 Specialist Avon Quiver 12'? what do you think of it? Ive got a couple of questions about the rod for anyone really, and these might seem abit... newby Apologise but im confused with a couple of things. Firstly, with that quiver tip, how strong are they? or what size of fish could they handle upto? Im scared ill snap it.... Secondly, the Avon tip... that can be used for standard float fishing cant it? Can it be used with a bite alarm for maybe Carp? using feeders? So the road is basically two rods in one, a quiver and a float rod? Thats where im confused I am really stuck on this and have been googling like mad Thanks for any help received!

  6. Hello Elton, You will have no problems removing AVG and ZoneAlarm Do you have a Router? Or do you know what Modem / Router you have? I personally think you will be fine with Avast and Windows Firewall, you will be even better off if you have a router thats got a built in firewall, most have this feature (such a the BT Home Hub) Good spyware programs are Malwarebytes as corydoras suggested, and i still like Spybot
  7. Hello Guys, I'm new here... I use to fish alot about 5 years ago, but then I had an accident and haven't really got back into Fishing. Now that the summer is here, and ive had the all clear, its time for me to get back to my favourite thing in the world The type of fishing I like doing is Coarse, Carp etc. What im looking for is two new rods and two new reels. I hear that Shimano make very good reels. Someone has suggested to me the maver tica sa3000 and maver black ice genesis, but i would like other suggestions aswell I basically want someone for the intermediate fisherman, which will be none complicated to use, but good quality and will last me a little while. My budget isn't very big I'm afraid, id say around £250 in total for two rods and two reels. Of course if anyone can suggest anything that comes in under budget.... ill buy you a beer! You'll probably be seeing me asking alot more questions in the future, just to warn you all Thanks alot for any help received!
