Hmm, the only thing I can think of is that you'r overloading your spool with line.

I have a NOAS card and fish at Wolwercote. My target species are Pike,Perch and Chub, all on lures.

Maggots and rudd, hmm I caught 15 rudd in 5 minutes on maggots tis summer, once you get a big shoal going it's quite easily done, quite borring really. I mean rudd and lures aint somfink you see every day

Hello all, Does anyone know of and places where I could catch trout on lures. I live in Oxfordshire.

Has any one had any experience in catching rudd on lures? I hear you can catch the on nr 1 & 2 spinners. M.K

Sweetcorn in m experience is also brill. I tried it on a river where it had never been used before and the chub & roach went mad! I also caughta perch on it

Hi all, I have got a feeder rod now and want to use it.I would like to fish for bream and carp, the only problem is I don't know where to go I live in Oxford. I am considering going to the Shimano Linear complex and if I do could someone please tell me wich lake is best suited to feeder fishing. I would also prefer a grass bank. Any help on anything metioned above would be much apreciated. Cheers Martin

Yesterday I was lure fising woth a broked plug that had no action -only floated. I jerked it every 10 seconds, then a bird came along (a whire un`, probably a seagul living in Oxford ) and tried to pick up my lure! I did manage to jerk it away but what do you do if you do manage to hook a bird :confused: I am a bit worried.

Hi, I have a season ticket to the river Thame near Oxford. The card says itlots of species of fish, i think there were about 14 Has anyone fishd it? I went to see a strech of it and most of it is about 3ft deep with lots and lots of weed. I studied the water for 10 mins and didn't see signs of ANY fish I hope that someone will know more about this river. Cheers Martin

I agree with Chris. I have a SplashPlastic card wich is 100% free, you can only use it in certain stores though.
