Hi Renrag, I am sure she will get in to it once she has a rod in her hand and if she dosen't like it ,tell her to take a book to read, then she can watch you at the same time. She may just change her mind and want a go. Let us know how you get on? Tenchgirl

Hi Renrag, I am new to this forum as well and like you, have just got back in to fishing with my hubby we mainly fish on lakes and today have done a bit of carping. Happy Fishing...Tenchgirl.

Hi, Hubby and I went to the lakes and did a bit of carp fishing, he caught lge bream, lge carp and a couple of small carp and a few tench.Lovely big carp, well for us anyway. I caught a small carp and 6 tench, also lost a big carp trying to get it in...DOH! ''Oh well never mind'' I will keep trying. Hope you have all had a good day whatever you have been doing. Good Morning all, My hubby and I have just started going coarse fishing again after 8 years, never thought I would miss it so much, so now we try to get twice a week if we can. Not tried any other kind of fishing yet, but hope to try carping later on. We do have the rods etc....but not sure what line to put on and which size hook, can anyone give us a idea please.
