  1. good advice vagabond you have got to keep the buggers up in the water (especially if you are match roaching) When I am pleasure fishing for roach I dont mind the perch so much, in fact I appreciate the odd one when takes are slow, and I have landed a 2lb perch on a still roach pond (BONUS big style) Great scrappers on roach tackle. But always bronzies coated in turmeric for the speccies (no joke try it) IT IS AS OLD AS THE HILLS BUT DEADLY. FISH ON THE DROP THOUGH FORGET THE BOTTOM! a must is to loose feed every 30 secs catching or not, six bronzies tight to the float. tight lines

  4. I find the deadliest of good roach baits is two bronze mags coated in tumeric powder hooked onto a size 22 on a two foot trace 1lb BS. fished on the drop feeding loosely every 30 seconds no more than 6 mags at a time trust me you will bag up
  5. Hi Tatiana G I agree with Peter, there are a whole load of silver fish out there that usually polish off the leftovers not to mention our feathered freinds and of course the rats I think the worst culprits for polluting our waters are nuts (TIGERS IN PARTCULAR)they dont breakdown and go manky in a short period of time I have seen anglers bailing them in wthout consideration god knows why. Theres no wonder fisheries today are issuing so many prohibitions
