  3. Colin, I don't Know if you read the back of the parking ticket , But it said something like we have the right to serch your car , we are not responsible for goods left in car owner do so at there own risk. so what are we paying for ?????? WE SHOULD AT LEAST GET SOME SECURITY FOR THAT CAR PARK. My M8 worked out thet in 4 days over a MILLION £ would of been spent. it is only a guess. But an average of £35000 x 100 stands 3500, 000 £9 x 10,000 peps 100, 000 £6 x 5,000 cars 300,000 that lot come to approx 750k plus tackle as you can see it would be quiet a lot of money spent but as I said this is a pure guess. 4. This is the first show I have been to for more years than I can remember, Thank you A. N. as I was one of the lucky winners of the competition. I left Lincoln @ 6.30 am arrived for the show at 9.30am as I had got a little lost on the way. My mate and I enjoyed the day. All of the exhibitors were friendly & had time for a chat. Even if they were a little tired and kna**ed due to the clock change & the sheer volume of customers they were dealing with. I was a little disappointed with the lack of small items that were available to buy (Hooks, Line floats from some of the manufacturers) also parking costs. I am afraid there seemed to be a lot of Companies that were not there. Is this due to the cost of the stands??? I was told that it cost over £35,000 per stand. Keep up the good work Anglers Net once again thank you & Tight Lines All
  5. Thnks for the information. I see in the Angling Time it is £6 parking. Dont Forget the clocks this weekend.
  6. Go Fishing Exhibition, This Week End at the NEC Can anyone please help I am going to the show this weekend and I do not know what the system to get they my mate said you have to park & ride buy bus. 1. Is this right 2. Do you have to pay parking & for the ride. 3. How long does it take to ride if this is the case? 4 how often are the buses. The reason for these questions is to plan the journey, Did the organisers realise that it is mothering Sunday & the clocks change?
  7. At the time of voting, Fishing was top with 38% of the vote. It was funny I only just read this after watching Rex Hunt on H&L.
  8. I have an Adcock reel I bought over 20years ago and it's as sweet today as it was all those years ago. I spoke to Cliff Adcock a couple of years and he is a very helpful guy. He sent me the seating screw which I drop free of charge. I have only had this reel serviced once. The cost of the range of 4 reels did cost £60 & up wards, I do not know what they cost today. 4" Reel free running no handles 4" Reel clutch & Handles 5" Reel free running no handles 5" Reel Clutch & handles His Number is 0115 9255963 the last time I used his services I think is the Notts area. 12. I went out today & had an enjoyable days Roach Fishing with my m8 we caught about 25-30 lb between us , ON Stick & Waggler. This Part of the Wittham is being worked on by the EA and they are doing a first class job rebuilding the banks , however its still going to take a while (couple more weeks) and with barges & tugs up and down it's noisy. You ask why I had a good day with all the river work going on. 1 It's the first time I have had a days fishing since Nov 2002 due to poor health. 2. It was a Great day bright ,sunny, and Dry if not a touch chilly. 3. My Freind is Great company & he lifted all my tackle as it's to heavy for me, as I am getting over an operation which stops me lifting. I just thought I would share my day with you guys and to say Thankyou to my M8 . Tight Lines to ALL Have a great week end Fishing MDG FISHING @ Last
