A takle shop owner told me that he fishes a river full of roach and loads of pike. He kept getting pike attacking his feeder as he reeled it in so he put a size 6 treble on his feeder!!! I asked if he ever caught pike on it and he said he had 14lb pike on it! Also my friend had one on maggots but it bite throught his line before i netted it.

How much money(£) do VDE pellets cost?

I am going to cornwall one week in October and i have only sea fished once so i dont know anything about it! Is 12lb mono line too strong or too light?? Please could some one recomend a rig? Thanks, and tight lines (sky sports 3 6pm!)

Bread (the best bait ever???),sweetcorn(nice and jucy), worms (chopped and full lobs) and hemp (groundbait hemp and hookbait hemp) i usually only fish with them baits any way

I think hemp is great stuff, and it sends the carp hyper!!! I like the dynamite baits hemp ground bait stuff, that works really well, But i have never tried hemp on the hook, would it be possible to glue it on? Try using really sharp hooks, so that it doesnt split the hemp. Rankine

hey mark, i recently made some paste from some pellets that i tried to soak that went wrong! I have freezed the paste and nxt time i go fishing i will try your method from mark rankine

I have had loads of bite on a controller float, so i mite put a big hook on the controller float next time i go fishing! :confused:

recently i bought some Crazy Bait Carp Pelets thinking that they sink. I put them in my ground bait but when i casted the feeder, the pellets floated! All the pellets came to the surface and took the carp away from my bait. Does any one know how i can sink the 8mm Strawberry Crazy Bait Carp Pellets? Tight lines, Rankine
