  1. Definitely Damflask at Bradfield,it has a good head of pike in it.
  2. The best thing to do with a bubble float is chuck it in the bin. They serve no purpose whatsoever and should never be put on your line.Anyone fishing with one should be banned for life from the water they are fishing. They are designed for totally useless anglers, hence you see alot in the North East. There are far better and superior floats on the market so why dont people use them. 3. If its bream your after nine times out of ten you wanna be fishing a feeder rod with groundbait in a groundbait feeder.Accurate casting to the same spot everytime to build up a bed of groundbait on the bottom.Local knowledge is the best tip find out off other anglers where they have been caught As for groundbait there are a million and one different ones. The one that works for me personally and I have absolute faith in is Sensas Magic mixed in equal parts with brown crumb and liquidised trout pellets.Roach like it too dont beleive the myth roach dont like fishmeal I have found this to be rubbish, you will catch roach fishing this.As for the perch these usually are the first fish caught before you get the bream
  4. Commercial carp are a pile of pap,gi me slabs on the tip any day
  5. I cant exactly tell you where i work for legal reasons, but we have problems with cormorants. The best solution I have found is blow the s**t out of them with a 12 bore, and if they survive that batter them to death with a stick,it gives immense satisfaction.
  6. Underbank used to be the finest roach venue in Yorkshire. It used to be full of pound plus specimens. This was late eighties early nineties.50lb nets of roach were not uncommon.Ive fished it few times this year and its been a pile of crap compared to what it used to be the only thing catching were the feckin cormorants!!
  7. Anyone been fishing Damflask recently?Whats the level like, bloody low last time I was there
