Stop this at once act now. IT MAKES ME RAGE WITH ANGER I’m tired of catching fish that have serious damage to there body parts and flanks. Caused by mindless morons who us nylon hook lengths over 5 ins fixed leads and semi so called leads, then nylon main line straight to the lead, yes no tubing, lead core nothing to cause less stress or comfort to the fish, I was unfortunate to witness such act while out doing a session, damage to the 1st fish this moron caught line scars down flacks, still persisting that they were spawning marks yeah right .anger boiling Inside I walked away. 2nd fish clearly see (he could not) his hook link had rapped around the fish 1st dorsal fin causing it to cut deeply into it ,that’s not all there a 3 inch deep scar and it mean deep . Running from its damaged dorsal under its right gill towards it mouth, (arrrrrrrrrrhhhhh).his explanation the fish must have cut it self on a gravel bar .lobby your waters your associations, fishery owners ,clubs anyone get this outlawed now .when you get so much out off some thing why let some morons , spoil it . and will go to any length to catch , what ever it takes to catch a carp. asking every one and anyone who reads this is to think about what its all about and get this type off thing (rigs) out??????????????? Off carp fishing once and for all and any one caught should be dealt with . get talking and make a noise post it around your clubs waters etc get it sorted I for one don’t want to catch a fish that has been treated in this way, doesn’t matter how big it is.

:)funniest thing when im fishing, well your fishing a 120 ac lake no one else can be seen for miles furthest away from the car park and some one comes along and then plants there self in the next swim , (ok dont know him are well) then sets his rods up casts them as far as he can get ramdomly.(no pluming feature finding nothing) heres me thinking when he catuputing his boilies out every where but where his hookbait is should i point his mistakes out or have another beer and smoke .lol

pete. i my self up to 20 years ago match fishing coombe on the open match series about 10 matches a season (pink league ,)(gave it all up to much presure on the wife.) on both banks . but started to fish on my door step this season .20 years of carp fishing up and down the country.to much time traveling and not enough rod hours in return .matches are very rare at coombe but there is always some pegs available.anyway if the matches where a problem i would fish in the week.

a good trick is if you like to keep things quiet is to tell people (people that walk the bank). is to tell them you are zander fishing.the usall thing is if the word gets out the area will be sawming with baits next week

proper fish lol im chuffed enough first season fishing for the carp at combe .by most people standeds. my rewards for combe are very good considering the peg i choose to fish was not one that had had fish out before,dont get me wrong it looks very carpy, but it away from most of the others and alot of people dont like fish on there own, and its really a one pegger. dont get me wrong people have given it ago but didnt surcome to any fish for them. but then again you create your own, you own luck with a little thought and effort,and of course a bait that you have every faith in MY OWN.

well no my dead baits are now for the pike and zander not done very well for those at the moment but then again only done 2 weekenders the double figure zander still aludes me but time to put some time in before the end of the season is opon us. yes you can night fish combe but only on a season ticket, and to the matches the last comment is completly wrong there was only one match i know of that was the billy lane one.the reason being not enough bait going in to keep the bream shouled up.that the main reason why the bream are a lot bigger than many years ago. but i only fished on the private bank for the carp to many kids fishing for the pike in the summer on the public bank for me

well sorry ive not been in touch ive done 21nights total at combe this season for 9 fish 14 pick ups biggest 30lb 4oz 6 20s 1 double 1 single. lost big big commen at net est high 20 0r low 30 fantastic looking prime fish not a mark or hook point in any of them hope nest season to do more nights there

off to coombe abbey i go gloriues 16th i no its very hard but i would rather catch fish out off here than any known 40 else where these fish go uncaught for years ome dont get caught,theres not many places in the uk like coombe, hard very but can be dawn right impossible , but if you dont give your best and try to learn you will FAIL?IF I CATCH OVER THE NEXT 5 DAYS ill post on here i wish :cool:

another way to help dry is bait is to add rice to your bag of boilies the rice absores the moisture from the boilies,keep in a paper bag or net. i always use suger as my preserveative around 2 0zs per 1k of mix helps a lot , if you hang them in a net bag and move them around every day they will last for ages , great for avoiding nuisunce fish they go rock hard. and dont split with a trowing stick, if you dowt me? it does work do you ever see jam or anythink suger based go mouldy. or off.

its own by the council big park down the road, the germans used it as a land mark to bomb coventry in the secound world war, £66 a season season ticket holders can fish a private bank for 4 months no day tickets on this bank but 100 pegs on other bank, can be fished by day ticket and season ticket holders , very good zander fishing and pike fishing in winter.around 80 carp up to 40+ but does not get fished only about or up to 6 carp anglers fish it for the carp but its big approx 120 acres of with you can only fish up to just under half for 4 months then a 1/3 the rest of season. thie owner want to keep this as a course fishery and not a carp venue, but they only stock 20s about 12 every other season, but i have sean them spawning this closed season
