  1. Could be I'll time her tonight... But you don't get to find out what you have to beat until you've done the full works. Black nails eyeliner, lipstick, black tear drop. Whatever is your thing
  2. I certainly hope so. And it will be interesting to see if Shaun can put his make up on faster than my daughter
  3. I'll not bother with rag then. Sounds like there'll be plenty of other bait. [ 26. January 2005, 11:58 AM: Message edited by: Mike Dodds ]
  4. That's me at the far left: And that was the last trip that I caught fish, back in November I did catch the club's biggest lesser spotted dogfish for 2004 that day though Please, please no blanking this weekend... [ 26. January 2005, 12:02 PM: Message edited by: Mike Dodds ]
  5. Is it worth ordering up some rag worm? I need to order this morning to collect on Friday. I'll have some frozen mussels, black lug, razor... Snatcher, I've not done much (if any) sea fishing with lures (other than hokkais). How do you recommend using them?
  6. Ah well nearly time to finish work... See you all in the next thread [ 25. January 2005, 03:49 PM: Message edited by: Mike Dodds ]
  7. No polka dots, just blue and yellow. And quite big enough to lose small people in. You can never have too much space for fishing tackle.
  8. Nah he won't like it. It's blue and yellow. Definately not goth. Besides it's nearly full now...
  9. Aargh, finger trouble [ 25. January 2005, 03:37 PM: Message edited by: Mike Dodds ]
  10. Hand line? I was following KennyC's suggestion I've got 400metres of chain and 3 12/0 hooks that I'll be welding into a triple. Just need to remember the bait (I think he suggested half a sheep). I was hoping the boat would have a anchor winch to put the chain on...
  11. Are we still leaving from your place between 5 and 6 or is Davy able to get away earlier?
  12. Dunno, never been that far North... If it's right and the orginal plan is correct, we won't be there much before midnight.
  13. Oh, I'm coming up with Davy, Linda and Norrie, but I thought it was a bit later than that
  14. Thanks YFL, but I should be OK, if I remember to use rotten bottoms. But not Shaun's, cos they don't work.
  15. Possibly both. I've got a couple of 3 hook flappers, a couple of Pennel rigs and a couple of pendulum rigs. And a wallet full of manky smelly stuff. A few Hokkais on 6/0 hooks and 3/0 hooks and some feathers. Just depends what else we might need and how often I get snagged this time.
  16. Thanks Shaun, much faster now [ 25. January 2005, 02:45 PM: Message edited by: Mike Dodds ]
  17. Karina or kaz Are you taking orders for traces? I don't think I'm going to have time to tie any up before Sunday, unless I try to do them in Davy's car...
  18. quote: But i know who you are talking about, i think. Is he the only one in the village
  19. I can manage that for you, too. A nice Macallan I think. MMmmmmm Macallan [ 25. January 2005, 08:02 AM: Message edited by: Mike Dodds ]
  20. Just spotted that the Sea Fishing Forum overtook the Coarse Fishing Forum in the last week.
  21. We got away with a pair of Rock Hoppers at £140, but she also got a full length pretend leather trench coat from Ebay at about £50 and an airbrush temporary tattoo kit. parents or what? I got a nice black ABU 7, which is getting its first outing on Saturday
  22. You go away for a weekend and come back to 3 extra pages of postings and discover your roomy is a Goth. I thought I was getting away from that for a weekend. Paula, my 16-yeard old daughter is a goth. To be encouraged. Apart from the expensive boots, black clothing is care of ebay or charity shops. Only one choice of makeup colour too. Of course the music she likes means that there are no clubs locally to go to, which is yet another blessing. Oh and Norrie (I'm sure you'll be here soon), you have PM. Only four more mornings to drive into Edinburgh. Mike
  23. Coffee milk and two sugar please. Tea, if I must, with just milk. Ta, Mike
  24. That's odd! When he dropped it, he told her it as 7 or 8 lbs. I'll let Kenny tell you how many cod he and I caught... [ 19. January 2005, 03:01 PM: Message edited by: Mike Dodds ]
