HI all, I bought this rod a while ago and have found Ive never used it. Originally for my pollack fishing I always used my uptider instead. So I have this greys prodigy, new condition with original rod bag, and will sell it on for £70 for collection in glasgow area (or yorkshire as I am down there next weekend) Cheers, Dan

Get along to isle of whithorn harbour, fish inside the harbour at night for mackerel (bright lights) and coalies, or the rocks to the left behind the white hut for dogs, rays, mackerel, pollack and anything else u fancy catching!

Ive never had the reel seizing up on retrieve and Ive used it for a while, caught a lot of good fish on it! I cast over 100 yards and fish the sea lochs in deep water and have never had this problem!

HI all, I am selling this abu as I do not need it any more. It is the blue open cage designed for casting distance in rough sea fishing conditions, or boat use. By the way For anyone who might be interested, I have for sale an Abu 7500c3 CT which I dont need any more. It is the blue open cage reel without level wind and is great for casting. NO need for mag brakes at all on a reel, just use both brake blocks and a little oil, its so simple! Mags do allow you to run the reel faster for the good days and slower when there is a headwind, but reels like the 7ht and blue elite should never give you casting problems if you use the blocks in them.

Caught a 25 lb tope at whithorn last year on a pirk on one of the small wrecks... does that count? A 10oz silver pirk with orange muppet, two baited hooks above but the tope took the pirk

Get anything right at the south tip of the mull at all? Down by the lighthouse? Seems to me to be logical that it would be as good if not better - catch the fish coming round the headland! Anyone any experience of this? Dan
