    Great white?

Have worked some realy strange hours of late, (not seen any news reports)and after phoning my step farther last night he told me of a report of a great white sighting in the South west. Can any body shed some light on this. Apparently there was some film footage of it.
  2. It's the same in the coaching industry. A local coach company recently under cut us on a school run by £200.00 per day on several coaches, the local council saved £2000.00 per week. We could not expect to survive as a company on these rates for coach hire. Untill companies sart to charge the proper rates for goods or services then there will always be a problem. This also needs to be backed up by the relivent authorities. Companies/peolpe are willing to break the law to make a fast buck and it is these that need to be targeted.

  8. All the beaches down here at the moment are packed with grockels (holidaymakers). A soon as the sun comes out they all head for the beaches. There are a couple of places you could try, Putsborough sand at the far end of Woolacombe beach tight in against the cliff for bass. Rockham beach bit of a walk. Baggy point anthogher walk/hike. Saunton sands down by north tail.Greysands near westward ho and many more. P.M. me and I can give you more details. I start work At 7:30 tonight and am away untill saturday
  9. I have at home a bass that was deeply hooked, so deep the hook was not visable. It was bleeding from the gills as well. as luck would have it i had closed down a marine tropical fish tank some time before but had not emptyed the water out of it. I was waiting for the water to cool before cleaning it out. I felt so bad about the state of the Bass that i fought to keep it alive. when it tried to retern it it just keeled over. The only thing i had was a plastic bag wich i filled with sea water and placed the fish into it. During the journy home i kept the bass upright and moving to maintain a flow of water over this gills. Once home the bass was placed in to the tank. Within a cople of hours the bleeding had stopped, although the fish was very week. Two weeks later the hook eye could be seen in the entrence of the mouth and week 3 the hook was lying on the bottom of the tank. There was no assistance from me to remove the hook but i did notice that there was no rust on the hook. The hook then very quickly rusted when it was removed from the water. I now regret taking this fish in some ways as it now is dependent on its food from humans hope that helps
  10. There's been a big issue at Instow beach, North Devon with kids getting sever cuts from broken glass buried in the sand. The last one was rushed to hospital. Say anything to anybody about the litter problem and it's alway some one else who left it before hand.
  11. I know someone who can get you them, they are in Exeter though. P.M. me if you want details

    Looe

I will agree with the above, It's a great place. In the river between east and west looe, you can see sholes of sand eels swiming behind the boats moored up against the walls at this time of year.
  13. You are 478 months old. You are 2,080 weeks old. You are 14,555 days old. You are 349,338 hours old. You are 20,960,307 minutes old. You are 1,257,618,451 seconds old. There are 55 days till your next birthday on which your cake will have 40 candles on it. Those 40 candles produce 40 BTU's, or 10,080 calories of heat (that's only 10.0800 food Calories!) . You can boil 4.57 US ounces of water with that many candles. THAT MAKES ME FEEL OLD
  14. Just to let you all know, the passenger of the coach has turned up. there was a mix up in the hospitial, they were being treated for injuries, thank god for small mercies. going to bed now after being up all night god bless you all.
  15. Lost a passenger from one of our coaches in this madness to day, all others safe and well. Still have all the drivers to get back some how as they are running out of hours and our coaches are all in the wrong places for pick ups tomorrow. It just sickens me to the bone how anybody could inflick this madness on inocent people.
  16. I have six drivers in london and made contact with five of them, theve gone with groups on day trips. I also have four coaches stuck on the out skirts of london with 150 passengers. this has caused us so many problems it unbeliveable. But even these problems pail into insignificance when you know people have been murdered. MY HEART GOES OUT TO THEM.

How do I repair this damage on the hull. Looks like the boat was moored in a tidel area and every time the tide went out she's come to rest on stone/rock. Any ideas??? edit note: picture link fixed. Newt [ 06. July 2005, 07:33 PM: Message edited by: Newt ]
