It is essential that there is some form of moderation when something is racist, sexist, slanderous, ageist or darn right personal. I just think, I never that crossed the line, but I,m not a moderator. If someone has a pop at my friends I,ll try and stick up for them, thats fair enough. If you think I,m being a pain thats fair enough also and its healthy to push the status quo / system. What would be the point of a "discussion" board you may as well call it only an "agreement" board. If I can reply to Eltons post, an infantile response, I thought. It is sad that a legimate view I posted has been removed as it was considered by the administration to be a personal attack on a fellow board member. My intention was not to undermine the individual concerned but to highlight the inconsistecies in his arguement for conservation. To the individual I apologise if I offended him, to the board administration I,m diappointed in the cronismn that exists here, big brother is here. Report Had a few fish although the weather was brilliant. Best Spurdog 5+lb, 4lb Thornback no other species caught. Many thanks to Conger Conger for some really usefull advice........ Top man the scenery and wildlife was spectacular........ but it doesnt beat the south west of scotland for me....

Anyone offer any serious advice on the shots to try from. Its shore fishing so bait and rigs and species would definately help. We here its good and would like to get our rods bent, as we travel up from geordieland.

lets get this year out the way before you put it in the angling times There should be a prize for best fish from the boat and best shore caught fish, all put 50 p in or something like.... John I think the flat rock fishes better for mackeral over low water, just have watch the gear over the kelp and boulders to get your feathers back, you dont wnt to lose your feathers when you dont have any hair LOL

I enjoy going to marks where there are plenty of decent fish, it does not mean you should be wreckless or disrespectful and never attempt a mark or a venue if its not right to fish........ Too many people have paid the ultimate sacrifice, lets all be carefull and respectful when we are away so we can enjoy it for many years to come. Tack4 I think I recognise that mark your fishing and if so were you using those small pollack as dead bait for the proper ones that swim about there? Snatcher you dozy git how many people can you get in the van? Are we all going to sleep standing up. As you know snatcher we didnt get because the conditions were awfull and the fishing just as bad....... Dont mind bad weather if fishing is good, but a Peter had been out and said it was desperate, nothing doing, we fished a competition flattie match on Saturday, OK, and then killed crabs on the east coast on Sunday to passs the time before the fish start moving in to the weed beds

Its funny cos I dont think my feet stink, everybody else does, and the noise and smell that eminates from the van on snatchers week is something to be experienced and not for the faint hearted or easily offended or even is you just can get offended......... If someones making a noise, farting or snoring or belching either compliment them or try and outdo them. (no critiscm allowed) And if their accompanying the noise or supplementing it by finding various methods of stinking try and outdo them, again critical observation is for the wimmin.....

Interesting the idea that Mullet patrol in front of your caravan, do they carry torches when it gets dark? LOL No need for a guard dog then snatcher (sorry to trivialise the thread)
