  8. I'd take a swim feeder approach Dave, using an open end feeder, with bread, sweetcorn or worm as hook bait, as I seem to recall you saying maggots are expensive "over there". I would also check the river bed by casting out a bomb, and slowly retrieving it, so you can find if there is any weed or other snags to avoid Hope this helps, Ian

  11. Not too stupid though "TWO men who sold a war memorial for scrap metal in exchange for £124 have walked free from court." They had the sense to get good lawyers!! They deserve to be locked up, just as the studnt who urinated on a war memorial, in Sheffield, did.
