  1. Nice one Rudd, would love to catch a Grassie myself.
  2. Interesting match, a few of them have let themselves go. Great to see Steffen Freund playing again (Spurs fans will remember him), still crazy as ever
  3. Thanks Den, you have a PM sent your way.
  4. Thanks Steve, will take a good look.
  5. Looks about 6oz I'd say. Gorgeous fish though, one of my favourites.
  6. I don't pike fish often myself, but my biggest is just over 15lbs caught on the Broads near Wroxham.

  8. Hi all, I'm going carp fishing in France next year and would like to upgrade my camera at some point. Features I'd like it to have would be; A large memory (perhaps memory sticks or those little cards that go in and you save photo's to them, then change over etc..) Decent flah for night time pictures Very clear Preferrably to include a tripod (do they, or do you have to buy seperately?) And finally something where you can take the picture yourself by kneeling or pressing a little button (no idea what they're called) or a timer on the camera so I can take pics of fish if I'm on my own. Looking to spend no more than £200 if possible. Sorry, don't know much about camera's, so what I've just said is probably a load of rubbish. Cheers for any suggestions, Dan
  9. It's probably called seven scale or something. Nice fish, well done.
  10. Any chance you could take a picture of the whole tank please Ferret. Would be nice to see what it all looks like as well as individual fish. Thanks
  11. Got one myself, and there's tons of room (too much for some swims) but I find them very sturdy and good quality for the price.
  12. Not great, but you can see it a little better.
  13. Any confirmed weight? It's one magnificent Pike!
  14. Not too bad Gaz. The lake was fishing well a few days prior to our visit but they said it had been slowing up. I only remember hearing of 1 carp coming out for the others at 11lb. My mate had 2, a 9lb stockie mirror and an 13lb 2oz ghostie: And I managed a 9lb 12oz long common near the end of the session. My tactics were free running rigs, light leads, fished slack with 2 real grains of corn and pop up piece on the hair. Fished over a small bed of trout pellets. Don't know what my mate was using, but he had both his fish on Honey yucatan boilies. Yellow seemed to be working.
  15. Next week's will involve a lot..
  16. Oh dear, walked straight into that one
