here's another new comer to the bass fishing, his first day at it as well am gony start charging

my brother was down to visit me for a weeks holiday and try to catch that first elusive bass, every day it was the same cry when are we going for them then, every day we tried and he just could not catch one, anyway to cut a long story short well its the end of his holiday so kicks him out of bed first thing in the morning and says coming we have 1hr before you have to set of home and of we go, so fishing away and watching the time fly past and still nothing ,15mins to go and bang wow he's got one at last after 3mins of playing the fish in it come he's over the moon and no way his first was going back so it whent into his pan that night and he says its the best fish he's tasted ( yeh right) another happy angler,well down the pub that and my mate say's hey ave never caught one of them buggers, so next day of we go fishing and after showing him how the lures and everything works of he went first cast and bang ( i dont believe it :confused: ) he's first time bloody norra and here it is not the biggest bass but needless to say it landed in the pan as well , oh got 3 and lost 2 myself that day biggest 8lb all mine went back

yes i was told black goby but it looked different

the viviparous blenny has a dorsal fin the full lenth of the body so a dont think it one of them

i wonder if anybody can i.d. this little bugger, the lateral fin was just like a fan ,thought it was a blenny but not sure

fishing with 2 mates on sandhead shore, one a novice who new everything there was to know , he was not the best caster , me and my other mate tried to give him a wide berth but he kept coming over next to us to cast, so sixth cast he put all his strenth into it as he pulled it over his head my mate next to me seen his rod move oh he said ave got a bite , before he could say jack frost his rod and reel were flying into the sea never to be seen again , i have never seen anybody cast 2 rod's at once before

touchy andrew, toerag not sure wot it was but the ventral fin was one complete fin across the body like a fan ?

john definately mate just give us a bell, andrew just used small rag and sometime's tipped with small piece of mackeral

i also fished a small rod 7ft childs rod with 8lbline and size 1/0 hook for small speices like whiting, collies, wrasse pouting and this little ? fish not sure what it is if anybody can help?

hi andrew, fish the same pier last night for conger , i use a 30lb boat rod with abu 7000 with 20lb line attached to 150lb mono lenth about 2ft then wire trace 8ins long on a 8/0 hooks and half a mackeral , last night lost one got one we fished 2 hrs before h/w to 2hrs after
