i haven't posted on here for well over a week due to coments on my bass picture.and my last post i was told to ignore comments that were passed to me, by the moderator which i did after all i only took 2 home and was blasted for it by some so called anglers on here. yet i look at this fine bass in the post on here now and he is being blasted what the f**k is the matter with some people on here try and give a bloke some praise once they have caught something nice and not comments like he's been given on here this has made me realise i will not be posting on here anymore there has been alot of upsets on this forum lately and i am not the only one thats noticed thats all i have to say in the matter.

thanks that was taken this april in watchet somerset aboard my own boat a 16 ft predator 160 we towed it all the way from kent to somerset, a bit frightning bringing it aboard but i had to get a picture of it it weighed 351b thanks for putting my picture up the right way

ok i have got my bruce now just got to wait to try it i bought a 5kg 1 in the end off of ebay its a copy but what the heck i dont care it only cost me £25 plus £9 postage plus i now have 20 ft of 8mm chain before i only had 6ft why pay £157 for an original bruce thanks for all your help have my old fishermans anchor foe sale if any one wants to make me an offer even gave it a coat of red oxide

he won the best boat for the last few years for the cod championships the boat is called hurrican very good skipper well recomended

yes we were mostly on the varne then tried a few wrecks only 1 person got stung on the top of the thumb but he was ok . we was lucky to get out as 2 people dropped out and we filled there places at the last minuite wanted to book the boat again but he was fully booked through the year as he only does weekends so will be looking to book another trip out form another boat will be searching about through the week .

had a nice day 9 anglers had about 45 codling nothing big but all sizeable i red gurnard 1 ballen wrasse loads of mackeral, and sh*t loads of them mini stinging weavers, all in all a GREAT day.

will be going out in a charter boat off of dover today sunday will let you know how we get on lets hope for a good day

with my fishermans anchor i have at the moment which i am going to change for a bruce a little tip for you when tying the other end up incase of snag, i use a nomal bed sheet old one or the mrs will be at your throat. just tear a strip off about 2 inches wide and 3 inches long and tie it with that, the rest is ideal to wipe your hands on with all these 100s of fish about at the moment NOT!!! its perfect for using for breakaway -problems ie deending on your size of boat just increase the width. its always worked for me.AS FOR FISH there is loads of roker off herne bay at the moment in the boats and a few have been coming up off the shore at reculver.

oh great lol yeah it is a burden i dont work for a firm i have my own taxi and work off the ranks so i can pick and choose what drunks to have and ones not to have it is so quiet over here that i have to work fridays & saturday nights till 3.30 am to make the money up as money is tight when no one feeds you the work and you have to find it . so i will have to have a drive around a few farms to see if they have any chain about that they dont want . went out yesterday off of herne bay had 5 rokers biggest 8ib i shooll bass i doggy and a mackeral caught on harbour rag , and went out again today but only 2 rokers still at least it aint a blank. so now i will have to save up for my new anchor and hopefully find some chain for free lol cheers mate. all the best
