  4. i fish in cornwall and have caught most of my bass on frozen sandeel(i also use mak lug rag peelers softies etc)biggest was 7lb4oz1dr.the water is clear down here but that and many more bass came at night in quite large surf so vision would be almost nil i would have thought giving that its dark and bloody sandy that they must have found the eels by sent.when i use them i cut the head off at the front of the gills and cut the tail off at the wrist and pennel it
  5. hi mark a little longer for more storage and better tracking maybe needed but as i am a short house i would have to be moving up and down on the yak to reach anything further away than it is now.and i don't fancy doing that when i'm out fishing in anything but flattish conditions.when i paddle it at a relaxed pace in calmish conditions my G.P.S says 2.4mph don't know if it is just th frenzy but it sometimes seems to stick to water in choppy conditions.
  6. Hi Mark, i fish from a frenzy.i'm 5'6''tall quite stocky and weigh 13stone.i fish in cornwall(mostly south coast)on my kayak i have two rod holders on a rhino bar style fitting by my feet with two pouches on it which holds all my terminal tackle and leads and my fish finderis mounted there aswell.battery and drypack up front and food clothes and trolley at rear.2.5miles out so far o real struggle but nothing to compare with.

  8. There certainly is. Took the yak out today just to try out the trolley.FANTASTIC.Just a two minute walk but its down a steep hill, on the sand no problems and coming back up the hill was like i was just walking up without anything.Just had to put a piece of camping sleep mat underneath trolley when folded up to stop any tapping on yak. yakmad
  9. welcome martin, my friend owns a boat and a kayak. The boat gets out about three times a year and the kayak every week.He fishes most of the same wrecks and reef systems on the kayak that he fishes on the boat. The boats have trouble getting out of the mouth of the estuary most of the time.He has never looked back. You will love fishing from the yak i'm sure.Good luck. john
  10. just been to a car boot sale and bought a golf trolley for four pounds. It folds up nice and neat and fits under the back cargo straps. To attach it to the yak for use i have two straps that go around the yak and trolley and it works great. The wheels are solid and wide but very light. Will try and get some pics of it so you can see.Much cheaper than a shop bought (around fifty pounds down here.)All i had to do was saw the handle off leaving about six inches and saw the stand end off(two pieces of pipe to saw off and bobs your uncle. john

Hi Starvinmarvin, I don't think it will take too long for this sport to take off. Everybody down here that talks to me about it and already fish trom either the shore or boat think it is a great idea. Some of the commecial boys look at us a bit strange when they come past us but it just gives us a giggle to see their expressions. cheers Yakmad

hi, just to say hello,i'am a new member of this great site of yours.I live in cornwall close to newquay but am hopefully moving to dorset soon.I have been fishing from my ok frenzy for about a year.Found your site about a week ago and it's great to know that there are others in the u.k who share this fantastic way of fishing.I managed to get two other people into it down here and they are well hooked. If anybody is ever down this way or needs any info feel free to give me a shout.I will be pleased to help. But you will have to be patient with me as computers and all this stuff is new to me. Good luck to anyone who is going out ,hope you catch a biggun.
