  1. hi thx for all your replys was looking at around £ 75.00 ish but would go a bit more yes a stiffish rod would be best the one from aldi is very whippy and the tip bends right round when tension line up lol then what reel would be best to use then what rigs do i want sorry for been a pain lol ,,tony

  3. well my son as just got a caravan at easington on east coast so will just be fishing from beach mainly as it is only 5 mins away never done sea fishing before thx for your reply
  4. hi all just to say i am going to be new at beachcasting/fishing so just wanted to know what a decent beachcasting rod and fixed spool reel to get something not to exspensive did buy one of these beachcaster rod and reels from aldi store but can not cast far as it seems to whippy at the end .thx for any help ,,tony

  8. hi budgie thanks well i won`t be going in to the bivve stuff and all that its just that i have got back in to fishing again after a few years off and with all the commercial waters seem to have loads a carp in i do course fishing mainly but just wondered if it would be better to get a carp rod or 2 instead of using a match rod thanks

    hi what is the best way to hook bread for floating mine alwasy comes of when i cast and what is the best size hook to use thanks
  13. thanks guys the reason i use spades is because i cant see to tie the eyed hooks even we glasses i use a drennen hook tyers so is easey for me than trying to tie eyed hooks and pete do you know i have never took notice to see if the line comes up front or back of spade maybe this is what happened thanks for tip and thank you everyone for the tips
  14. well usally for the waters near me i fish 4lb straight through do you think this is to much for a size 14

    which hooks do you reccomend spade or eyed i usally use 14`s up to a 8 been using 14 sades but lately some have pulled off at the knot the hooks was drennan i use a hook tyer maybe just a bad batch just seems to be these hooks that are doing it
