  1. Was very funny to read both of your comments about MAC addresses. Very funny. Octets indeed. Well thanks for brightening up my day lads. Cheers
  2. Although there are a few ways of spoofing your IP while on a network such as the internet there are always certain parts of yor computer that will always have the same identification mark. Such as your MAC (Media Access Control) Address. This is a mix of numbers and letters that are assigned to your network card, or your ADSL modem, or any device that communicates on a network. The MAC address can be modified with certain tools. Also there are things like your computer name, which can be changed easily. There are also other things such as your motherboard ID or serial number, which in some cases can be transmitted over a network, and to change these ID's would require a flash (rewrite) of your BIOS (Basic Input Output System). So, even with an IP that changes every second via a proxy server, or if you change your MAC address and computer name each time, you will still need to flash your BIOS everytime, it can be done, but its a lot of hassle. If you are upto something you shouldntd be, then use someone elses computer, simple. But remember if someone or something wants to track you then they will. Simple as that. Cheers all DoZZa
  3. Ad-aware by Lavasoft.com is a good one. The personal version is free and will remove most things. Cheers
  4. Hi mate, Yes I should be there. Looking forward to it. I lived in Woolacombe for over 20 years, and guess what, never once fished the beach. Was always told it was no good for fish, obviously someone was lying to me. Hope to catch some nice bass. Cheers mate
  5. I thought I would post in my defence. I started that topic on the other forum and just want to let you all know that I am new to sea angling. I have had it upto here with all the crap about these mullet. Everytime I go to the pier thats all I get, MULLET MULLET MULLET. I dont even like the fish. I tried fishing for them on the night that they came in to try and catch one fairly. Not to foul hook them. I didnt hook any. That is why I went back to using other rigs to catch other fish. Which I did successfuly. There have been an influx of "Mullet Hunters" on the pier over the last 2 weeks. They are sad in my opinion, as stated by others, it is no sport. Just so they can brag, "ive caught 32 if those mullet" Great, lets have a party. It was nice to see the shoal as the sea was alive with them. Someting I have never witnessed before. Although it was not nice to see people bagging mullet of 2.5lb, thats far too small, from what I read, (and correct me if i am wrong). It takes approx 10 years for a mullet to reach that size. 4lb is the take home size, right? So "Mullet Hunters" get a life. As for me, I am continuing my search of Conger and Bass. Thanks DoZZa
