  1. I am sure he is but there seems to be a bit of commercialism going on here!
  2. Does "known" on here equate to being in the "sales" bretheren?
  3. Thanks for the reply, although not as requested, I see you have a prowler 15?. You didn't answer the question, however, regarding experience and knowledge. I did notice that you say you have tried the Kaskazi in the flesh even though they have only just been released the UK. Normally only commercial sponsors get this advanced treatment?. Enough said. Forget the pun on words and commercial spin and just answer the question regarding experience to justify your comments and I will bow to your superior knowledge.........Waiting with baited breath
  4. I wasn't going to answer this but I am curious so here goes. ZZZZZippy, I am a senior member of the BCU (British Canoe Union) I hold level 5 instructor in sea kayaking, I run regular expeditions in the Hebrides (not going to commercialise with my site!!!) and have over 30 years experience in kayaking, starting in the marines as a diver/canoeist. I have run kayak survival courses, both in the service and civilian and I am also an experienced diver. I have seen kayaks develop in shape and design over many years and I have paddled many of them, some in operations that were military orientated. I have owned many types of kayak including, ocean, perception, Prijon, etc, etc. I owe none of them any commercial favour, but I value my right to have my say. I believe that I am reasonably astute when it comes to kayak knowledge and I would be grateful if you were to post your experience and qualifications regarding kayaking and all things marine, seeing as you have chosen to quote me as "knowing jack sh1t about kayaks" Basically, put up or ZZZZZZZZZZip it
  5. Enjoy wish I could make it!! Stu
  6. Cod is the only target species around my haunt, wish there were more Good luck lads
  7. --> QUOTE(Norm B @ Oct 22 2006, 11:42 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well done and very tasty they are too. I usually keep a couple of bream as I prefer them to bass, it's just that bass are more prolific and easier to catch round here. Ooooh very nice, well done!!
  8. Well said Somerset I will not answer him as I am not a troll, whatever that is, but I do notice that some seem to stick together on commercial issues, maybe money IS involved?. I value EVERYBODY's opinnion but trying to shout people down just shows some kind of guilt or something. I am certainly NOT from a company, and I find the acusation strange and defensive?. Anybody else want to come clean on the bung front?????
  9. Actually, no commercial harm done, they are bloomin awful They look like a cheap, slim, pedalow and you will notice a lot of them have sponsons for stability! why is that?......obvious really! UNSTABLE
  10. I take it you are on a bung from them then? I thought this was for kayakers to share thoughts not commercialism for you and that Simon Everet bloke?
  11. Hi guys Sorry for the upset just my atemt at humor which isn't very good wudnt dream of takin illegal fish actualy, sorry to cause any upset, I didn't mean it and will gladly leave if I have. Sorry again, i will keep my sily coments out of it as i am not into that kind of thing honest lads. sorry again Martin I feel well stupid now
  12. The commercial fishermen will still plunder under size fish, so why shudnt we? Wen woz the last time you looked at a bass in the supermarket? well under that size!!! Anyway, onece mine are filleted and gutted out at sea, who is to say wot size they were? haha PP [admin note - you may have noticed that the "warn level" by your name has increased. This sort of comments and indeed, this sort of attitude, aren't needed. Newt]
