WHY DONT YOU RUN A COMPETITION TO DESIGN A NATIONAL LITTER CLEANUP POSTER AIMED AT ANGLERS?

 

I CLEAN UP AFTER ANGLERS ALL THE TIME :mad: AND VERY OFTEN THE ONLY WAY TO DISPOSE OF LARGE AMOUNTS OF GARBAGE IS TO BURN IT :( .I AM WELL AWARE THAT BURNING IS NOT A SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM BUT BEING A PIKER,I AM OFTEN IN PLACES SO REMOTE,REMOVAL WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE :confused: .I AM SURE MANY ANGLERS DO THE SAME THING,WEEK AFTER WEEK AND HATE DOING IT.I WOULD FEEL BETTER,BILLING POSTERS ALL OVER THE UK IN AN ATTEMPT TO SHAME ANGLERS INTO CARRYING THIER CRAP HOME.

IF A POSTER CAN BE DESIGNED,IT COULD BE LEFT AS A PAGE THAT ANGLERS CAN PRINT OFF AND PUT UP AT THIER FAVOURITE SPOTS :) .

IM NOT SURE WHAT THE SOLUTION IS BUT SOMETHING MUST BE DONE AT LEAST.ANY THOUGHTS COS RUBBISH MAKES ME SPEW.

years ago there used to be an event for metal detector users at brighton called called the" brighton beach clean" it always got press attention but seems to have disapeared ,i suspect the council couldnt be bothered to pick up 10`s of full bin sacks on a sunday :(:)

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

The NFSA (http://www.nfsa.org)usually organise an annual beach clean, and so do the Marine Conservation Society (http://www.mcsuk.org)

 

If litter on your favourite beach depresses you, why don't you adopt the beach and get some good publicity for angling (and maybe your club)?
