Just wanted to post pictures of the latest beauties Snatcher sent along. I am getting really itchy for warm weather so I can try them. My local largemouth bass don't move around much below 50º F water and that probably won't happen much before late March.

 

The coin is a US 25¢ piece for size comparison. Not sure what UK coin is similar size though.

Very clear pictures Newt,what type of camera were you using?

Just hope the colours do not frighten your bass to death mate!

Colors should be OK. Largemouth bass, and especially in spring time, are aggressive but not overly smart.

- if it looks like something I usually eat, I'll strike it

- if it looks like something I've never seen before but isn't larger than me, I'll strike it

- if it's moving so I can't see it clearly and isn't larger than me, I'll strike it

- if it hangs around my area for very long, I'll strike it
