forgot what i came on for. iwould like some information. please can someone tell me the best rod for launching spods my pal said a 3lb t/c carp rod but im going to buy a boat rod about 7ft. what do you think ??

It not avised to used a 3lb T.C. rod for casting long distance. Maybe is the margins but there no need for that as you can catapult the bait.

 

There are some cheap spod rod on the market which will do for casting spod.

 

Chub Locator Spod Rod £50.

Fox Warrior Spod Rod £55.

Kevin Nash Hooligun XS Spod Rod £70

 

Best to shop around to find some really cheap spod rod than risking your carp rod.

thank's andrew i'll take that on board im off to the takle shop this afternoon check some out.

big day to-morrow new place bag or blank i'll do my best does anyone know felton fence out side newcastle-upon-tyne can help with bait info for carp & tench cheers.
