  1. Hi Ken - Tough choice for a specific tench water without the big head of carp. Back in the 80's & 90's There a few venues around the Birmingham area which did hold some tench - these are the ones I did know. But unfortunately I have moved away from the good area for tench fishing, I do not know now on what the fishery is like now! These are some place you could look at or enquire about it in most tackleshop around the Birmingham area. Swan Pool - West Bromwich (Day Ticket) - did have a few head of tench but not sure what it like there now, I do know there a few carp in the water and the last one I had was around the 20lb but the biggest tench I had was around the 5lb/6lb but as I said I haven't fished it for a few years now. Lodge Park Pool - Redditch (Membership only) A small pool which I am afraid got large head of carp but in some place - you could catch tench in certain area of the pool - again haven't fish it for a few years but I know a friend who still fish it. I could find out if you want me to? Hewell Grange - Tardebigge/Bockhill (Membership only) This set in the grounds of HMP at Hewell Grange - Another place which had large head of Tench at one time but not sure if they are still there or not. But I do know the fishing venue did stock carp in the late 90s so again couldn't tell you what the score is nowdays. Croften Hackett - (Longbridge) Membership only - a very hard place to fish but again did hold a large tench up to 4lb back in the late 90's and again not sure on what it like there now - I do now that access was very difficult to get to and also joining the place was very secretly to get in. Barnt Green Reservoir (Upper Bittell) (Membership only) - Another good place to fish - but it was mainly roach and bream water with a few head of tench but they often caught when the water level went down and if you are prepare to walk round to the either side of the reservoir. Alvechurch Fishery (Day Ticket) some a few tench going up to 5lb/6lb but it is mostly over run with carp! Terrys Pool (Earlswoods Lakes - Membership only in Terrys Pool - again did had a few tench going up to 6lb/7lb but again you had to walk a long way from the car park as they were in certain area of the pool. Must I do know now that there quite a few carp in there now which ruin the pool. There are plenty of other venues I could mention but I do stress out that is mainly all designed for carp and match fishing.
  2. You can buy the Enterprise Tackle Quiver/Rod Tip Nightlite Adaptor Suitable for either with Isotopes or other chemical nightlites. These adaptors of a small groove bored out as to remove the tubing to open them apart, then put on the quiver, and the tubing on to close the adaptors, again these can slide up or down to the require diameter of the quivertip. I found using white chemical nightlites is better in the dark than using either green or red as sometimes the nightlites plays tricks with my eyes throughout the night. I sometime use two of the adaptors - one on the second eye from the end tip and the third eye from the tip - would never put one near the end tip as it create a greater risk of damaging the quivertip when either casting out! . https://youtu.be/K5Fy7Af9haM
  3. I don't remember posting the diagram under Bobj link - to it - ah well many thanks Bobj
  4. Hi everyone, been a while since the last time posted on here! Anyway I am looking for a paper copy or scan copy of an schematic drawing of an old Shimano 6010 reel as had a very small piece drop out of the reel body and need to find out if it where it go from the drawing. I have already asked Shimano Uk and was not very helpful as it no longer on their website and not in production anymore. So I am wondering if anyone might have a copy laying around and could scan me a copy of the schematic drawing of the Shimano 6010 Baitrunner reel. I can put this part back in the reel. I would be appreciated if anyone could help me out.

  6. Good luck to everyone who going to the Wingham fish ins this weekend as I am afraid won't able to make it due to moving out of my house! I will look forward to the catch report.
  7. Yes just found out couple hours ago the buyers want move in 2 weeks time, so there might be a good chance that won't able to make it now! but will see.
  8. Email sent yesterday evening, hopefully will find the time to do this fish ins due to house moving.
  9. forgot to add this but I wouldn't recommend the 8000 or the older 8010 baitrunners reels as they are too big for the Drennan series7 1.75 avons rods
  10. Hi Matt, not sure you remember me or that I am on/off member of Wingham and for my tench fishing I used the Shimano 5000b reel for my short range to medium range fishing. These are much sought after reels that can be found on eBay's, gumtree and Facebook traders pages. They do go second hand prices up to £50 to £75 depending who you buy them off! But I wouldn't recommend the older types like the RE baitrunner versions because the parts tend to break quite easily. I am not sure what the new versions like the DL, ST, RA etc as I been quite happy with the 5000b.
  11. Yes I did press the wps button on the router and also on the wps printer button to set up the connection, but after 2 minutes the printer message say wps error. But I gave up after several attempts I am back home and will try again in a few weeks when the next time I go again.
  12. When you mean third party app - do mean downloaded the hp eprint?
  13. Hi everyone, hope you having an nice Christmas. I am staying a few days with my uncle and auntie My auntie got an iPad where she does most of her internet surfing and friends communications. A couple years ago my uncle brought an wireless printer (hp 3050a printer) from a well know shop. The person told my uncle that it will work from an iPad. I made the effort to see them at chrismas. I gone through on what I know but haven't got good idea about the iPad. I have tried looking to see where "printer icon" but nothing shows up. Tried connection the wireless printer from manual instructions and not getting anywhere as getting wps error on the printer display. I got a feeling if there a fault in the printer side? I would be grateful if anyone can help me but bear in mind not I am not use to iPad either and on working from my internet phone at the moment.
