Hi all,

After a poor trip to the mull last weekend, I fancy staying local and catching a tide off warkworth breakwater (Amble north pier). Does anyone know what, if anything is around at the moment. I'll probably just try for flatties and mack but any recommendations would be appreciated.

sorry, hadn't noticed this.

 

cod and ling are being caught off the boats as are plenty of mackies.

 

whiting and codling showing off the piers and mackeral when the weather is right.

 

best baits, mackeral strip, peeler and I've been using squid as a useful backup bait.
