mackerel caught on worm

i went along the peer the other day and people were catching mackerel on lug

When there are lots of them they will jump on anything that moves! Especialy if the rig has attractors...

i fished at st.abbs on tuseday from my boat and when i anchored on the sand for flatties i was getting pestered by mackerel taking lugworm fished hard on the bottom,

 

these were big jumbo ones too about 1.5lb+

 

everytime i had one on i thought it was a big plaice until it got within sight of the boat then they went bananas
