Help needed yet again!

I hope somebody out there can give me a hand with this little problem!

I went out for a nice walk today, through the woods and to my club lake. I took loads of pictures with my new digital camera, then came home and decided to get technical...

That's where the problem started!

I downloaded all the photo's onto my PC, then made a slide show with music, using Picasa3. Nothing brilliant, but I'm really pleased with it, and I wanted to send it to the friend who accompanied me on my walk.

Now I can't do anything with it! I can play it OK, but I can't e-mail it, nor can I get it to upload to YouTube or Photobucket. It takes forever, then hangs with an error message. Trying to send it as an email using Outlook keeps bringing up a "can't connect to network" message, although I have no problem in sending and receiving other emails.

Does anybody have an idea what I'm doing wrong? I admit I'm not very technical, but I've emailed videos and uploaded stuff to sites before with no problems. Is it a problem with Picasa3, or is it just me being a bit dim?

Your help would be appreciated!

Cant help you Janet, however, had a similar problem with my mates Picasa3 this very day. Came home, downloaded Picasa3 onto my computer, to try to work out the problem, it tried to take over my settings!!! to make it 'Number one'! Now I'm not much at computers either, but I very quickly removed it . . . The program tries to take over, need to . . . 'uncheck' . . . boxes as it down loads, and still it got hold, nasty!! Wont be going there again.

Janet, if you have Windows XP or XP Pro, and have a PC knowledgeable friend with Windows XP Pro, they can take remote control of your PC to help you out.

I know this because when I built PCs for my mum/sister/sons/friends/friends of friends/etc. apparently I also bundled in lifetime technical support! :(

Not an answer for the program you used but try Pic to EXE. You can download the trial version for free but it is limited to 10 images. However it is very good and well worth buying the full version. Once bought you get all the upgrades... forever. Also if you take the trouble to contact the developer he will, if possible, incorporate your ideas and give feedback. With this guys attitude to development he deserves to be richer than Bill Gates.

Sorry Janet but I cant heklp either. Only thing I have to offer is that I hate Picasa. I used it once and it seemed to make itself the default for all sorts of stuff. I could only do thing with the photo's that Picasa would let me. Get out while you can I say! ; )
