I've managed to blag a promising item later on in the year for "testing". It is an inflatable bed that comes complete with an attached sleeping bag type of cover. It is actually intended as a camping item, but if it allows a quick escape, it could be the ultimate luxury item for big softies to put on top of their bedchairs. I will let you know if it keeps me in the kind of luxurious comfort that I have come to expect, and to which I am accustomed. I asked the manufacturers if it had a welly wipe, but they mistook my words for willy wipe. At least I may now get to keep it.

English as tuppence, changing yet changeless as canal water, nestling in green nowhere, armoured and effete, bold flag-bearer, lotus-fed Miss Havishambling, opsimath and eremite, feudal, still reactionary, Rawlinson End.
