What bivvy pegs are the best for hard ground?

On a more serious note, I have found the best pegs to be the steel ones that are threaded so enabling you to screw them into the ground. The best ones also come complete with a T bar on the top. Cost around £1 each if you dont go for the fancy packaging. Can be purchased at most angling shops and failing that in caravan and camping shops. Hope this is of some help.

you could try something really old fashioned and make them.Just go to a local B&Q store and buy a length of 5 0r 6 mm steel rod,cut to size and use a vice to put a bend at the end and a file to create a point at the other.Cheap and satisfying.

no hammering, whatever the ground, and you dont have to keep pushing them back in when the wind is giving it some
