As a matter of interest, how many people from this site are not attending, and other than work/previous commitments, are they any specific reasons that put you off from attending.

 

Only asking, as it's good to get constructive comments from people, especially if it results in us getting more people to attend future events.

74 Tickets have now been sold. As previously mentioned, we would ideally like 100+ people there.

If you are coming, why not see if you can persuade someone else to join you. It makes the social even better, helps spread the cost of petrol etc, and more importantly, helps raise more for Macmillan Cancer Relief.

As a newbie to this site and also I have had a few years 'off' from fishing I am trying to talk my missus into letting me come! Might cost me though

Why not offer her a nice camping weekend in Hampshire. Book the ticket first, and when she say's no, tell her it would be a waste of money not to use the ticket, so offer to go on your own.

 

At least it looks like you were trying to surprise her with a weekend away!!!!!!
