Thinking about Wingham this year and reading about Vitalin (never used it )

What would your ideal mix be?

I'm thinking along the lines of a canal type groundbait using pv1 binder to keep it tight.

Then choosing additive like braseem or one of the liquid stinkers.

everytime i catch a fish i'm lucky when i blank i'm a hopeless angler.

I guess it depends on how you are planning to feed! I'd be using crumb with some liquid flavour and not much else. But then I would spod that out, and use leads or maggot feeders on top with PVA stocking full of smell.

Were you thinking of using a method feeder?

Terry

I used a Vitalin groundbait layer balled in at Wingham 3 years ago, funnily enough off the point you fished last year, and did ok.

If you mix it using just boiled water, whatever is in it leaks and binds it quite nicely. So much that you can use it as a method mix.

I think the real question you must ask yourself re feed at Wingham is which species you want to tareget.Past couple of seasons hasnt been great for me regards time spent on the bank but Ive got enough in to definately feel that the bream and tench need a totally different style of baiting.

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!
