Anybody want a horse

Recommended Posts

These two are 100% for driving.

Good in traffic, even army tanks don't worry them.

Anyone who goes to Stow(in-the-Wold) fair, might have seen them there.

Their owners are going over to a tractor to tow their Vardoe.

The Skewbald is 5 years old son. The mare is ten.

They are used to being on a plug and chain and have just been turned out for the first time at my place. Quiet as could be!

Don't expect to have them given to you!

Colin Brett:

Not wishing to diminish your thread Jim,

But those pylons in the background look unsafe.

Nice animals.

Jim, can you give me some idea please?? I know of someone who will give them a very good home if of course the price is right!! They are the sort of horses he keeps himself.

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

They're not mine.

I think the skewbald gelding is sold and being collected tomorrow.(Saturday)

The mare is 10 years old and is, I am assured 100% in traffic, including the

odd army tank, and is not affraid of pigs(apparently some horses are).

I am only guessing at the price(you know how secretive travellers are) but I

would think something over £2,000 for the mare.

They are just outside Weymouth at present.

Chriss and Mat, you both have Email with contact details.

Both horses are now sold.

The girl from Cornwall, who bought the gelding, collected it Saturday and brought with her someone who bought the mare.

Thanks for the interest shown.

Elton, if you are reading this, the thread can now be deleted.
