Andy_1984 assures me they're suckers up the Forth and Clyde and even the noddies are pulling them out so that's the next plan of attack. Fishing noddiesville for some big tench.....and knowing my luck with tench so far, I'll get a carp (is it an F1 or just a carp?) or a perch or a big roach. I'm not for caring mind you. If they pull the string, it's worth doing.

Thanks for the kind words people.

 

Its always nice to up your PB but like Ian said it didn't fish that well. I know Ian has had them over 8lb off this water and he doesn't think that is as big as they will go. Its just a shame i have other things on the cards in the next couple of weeks and my true love the river season will start after that. There's just not enough time in one season, but you never know.
