Not sure how to approach this so I'll just put it out there.. What do you say to your child when they come up with this?

 

While holding a piece of a snail shell in her hand she says "Look Daddy someone murdered a snail".

 

 

Where do they get these things?

their teachers usually

it doesnt matter what you say if it differs to the teachers your always wrong

teachers tell lots of lies about lots of things (christmas ,santa ,god,history etc etc ) but to contradict them is asking for full on "huffs" i had to tell our kids teachers to their faces several times that "their" version of things differs from ours and to desist brainwashing our kids to the contrary :mad: :mad:

one punished our youngest for telling her schoolfriends that santa didnt exist and it was their parents :confused: not nice to keep a 5 year old in class when the rest were out playing :mad:

I agree but I can only guess at where it actually came from. With all in the news I don't know. Her choice of words leads me to believe that she heard it somewhere other than with us. Murdered in my opinion only applies to people.. and she wouldn't consider fishing/hunting as such since she has lived with that for the majority of her life.

 

Anyway here she is in Northern Wisconsin this past month. Well traveled our destinations this summer.. Oregon, Wisconsin, Britain, and France. Maybe she got it in France. They have snails there eh?
