If you are thinkinking of dealing with AXA think again. I had nothing but "lost" letters/forms/death certificates -can you please fill in "another" form for the third time

 

One guy with Indian/Pakistani pigeon English even asked to speak to my dead sisters husband who died 5 years ago

Sorry for your loss...these things are the last thing you want to be dealing with (which of course, might be part of the insurance companies masterplan perhaps?)

 

The CIS generally have been pretty good - I've only ever needed to make one claim (for a vehicle) and they settled within 2 days of it being recovered, and paid out for oddments of contents without any quibbles. My life cover is with the co-op, which BTW tops out at under £14 per month for two adults of 25, on fixed payout (not decreasing term) over 25 years.

 

It does emphasise how we should all be careful with such things and despite not wanting to (or having the time) carefully check out the small print - or at least - get key points noted in writing.

Most of them are the same. I see that insurance companies in the US are trying to cheat NO survivors out of millions. Surprise, surprise!
