Facts - my sister died 12 June 2005

 

She had a death policy with AXA

 

Bad news she died of natural causes

 

If she had been blown up by the rag heeds nee bother:(

 

Been on to them for 3 months. Forms lost,death certificates lost,etc,etc. She died 3 months ago so got a phonecall from a "foriegn"guy "can I speak to Mr Robb" please.

I cannot believe this,that was my sisters husband who died 5 years ago

 

I still have a funeral bill to pay for - even though she died of natural causes tip up the pittance that you might eventually

 

Anyone in the insurance game here anyone speak "English"

 

Anyone know an English person who works or more to the point "cares" about policy holders!

The name of the deceased was Either

 

Sandra Robb

Sandra Smith Take your pick and the grand total of approx £200 payable to her only serviving relative,her brother John Stephenson

 

Anyone with any clout in insurance gameplease pass this on

 

Advice - read the small print. Do not die of a heart attack in the first year of your policy with AXA. Get ripped apart by a great white - thats the game - then they will pay for your funeral if they can find the bits

snatcher sorry to hear about your sister,my mother had that problem trying to claim on her house insurance,the header tank split dumping 50+ gallons of water through 2 ceilings.

guess who she was insured by, AXA

they are a total bunch of wasters they even lost her reciept for the work that she had done and paid for before claiming,she got her money after a letter from her solicitor.

she now insures her house and car with cis (co-op)

they are realy on the ball.

snatcher a letter from a solicitor will do the trick,they are trying to wriggle out of paying you. :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

Most of them are the same. I see that insurance companies in the US are trying to cheat NO survivors out of millions. Surprise, surprise!

I've had a word around for you mate...

 

Your best bet is to get in touch with the Insurance obudsman and get them to look further into this for you.

 

Tbh I find it very unreasonable for them to not pay out, why else do you take out life insurance?

Emz - I was told that with life assurance (read the small print) if you die of natural causes within the first 1/1.5 years they do NOT pay out ;(

All you get is your payments back.

 

If some "ragheed" expodes next to you luxury,payment in full !

 

How sad is that?
