species hunting should start getting harder the more you catch.

 

 

Well, you might think so, but although I am running out of freshwater targets, there are plenty of sea species left.

 

I got four more leads this last month, a char loch (next), a clear lake with grassies to fish next month, a report of red-band fish on feathers from Weymouth, and took your nephews shrimping this week, and they came up with six solenette in the shrimping net! So back there with the #26 hooks again as soon as the tides are right.

Trying to get a size #26 past them shrimps might be like fishing the ultimate crayfish infested water for chub. :)

 

I'm off up the glens this morning, so i will light the barbecue and await your arrival with some char. :)

Just keep an eye on that barbecue so you don't finish up with charred charr :rolleyes:
