Fuzzy pic

Seem to be plenty around my area (east Kent), at least one pair on every lake, several pairs on some of them.

 

I must admit to a bit of a cheat though, that rod was only positioned there for the KF to perch on, although it was actually fishing

 

I had tried every day last week and got some really good pics, some on the bullrushes and some on a nearby tree. But they were all blurred!!!

 

So I carefully preset the camera on manual focus and fulltime flash and fully zoomed in and waited....got one shot and the battery went flat :mad:

 

I quickly put the spare bateries in, reset the camera (involves quite a lot of button pushing and the lcd display on) and blow me down, that set of batteries died .

 

Monday I will be back with tripod and long air release and hope that swim is empty

 

Oh yes, I do do a bit of fishing while I am there, I had 8 fish last week, up to 15+......only (and I will whisper this in case "you know who" is watching) they were Pike I'm not to proud to admit the carp are beating me at the moment

Nice pic Den only ever seen two Kingfishers in the entire time I have been fishing .

ah right, iv only probs seen 2 this season not common at all in this neck of the woods

Went back again today, same swim (only bloke on the lake )

 

 

Getting better..actually got a fish in its beak!
