Yup well done to the angler sadly that is the only constructive bit I can add

 

Fish is in very poor condition & highly stressed hence the Pink tinge and also there is one other small issue it's about 49lb short of 249lb. :(

I didn't really want to say too much as certain people get a tad upset when you point out the obvious issues with their fish

Things like, it's also being held in an unnatural position that is putting the whole weight of the fish on the root of it's tail just to make it look bigger than it actually is. The original picture that was over on WSF also shows the top of the engine cover which despite what has been said is 1m wide, from that it's reasonably easy to work out an approx wingspan of 67". That puts the fish in the very respectable range of 190 - 205lb not the claimed weight but then that is nothing new for the boat it was caught on (got an interesting .pdf if you want )

 

Other than that it's fine :)

Well done on the return, the last time i read an artical in the sun about a record fish being caught in the irish sea it was on shore dead! so well done on the return!
