what's the best way of keeping Rag /lug alive for a few days

You dont need anyhting special to keep it alive for a couple of days. Wrap in clean newspaper and put it in the fridge. Check them daily, take out dead ones and rewrap.

bait is so expensive today and I keep both for up to around 3 weeks ...

 

I keep promising myself to tell others how to do it; but the mags don't want to know.

Ive kept both for many months. Its a lot of effort to set up but once running its no problem.
